Compare your views with your friends, co-workers, or anyone else!

The Friends and Groups features make it easy to share and compare how you stand on the issues.

Here's how it works:

Friends

The "Friends" feature allows you to make your views visible to anyone you choose (and nobody else).  Adding someone as a "friend" allows them to compare their views to yours.  They can see every answer you've made, so you should only assign a "friend" if you are comfortable with this.

To set up your friends:

Choose My Account from the menu (you must be logged in for this to be visible)
Choose Add or Remove Friends
Type your Friend(s) name into the box, and click "Add this Friend"

To see your friends responses:

Choose Analyze Responses from the menu
Choose Analyze My Friends
Choose a Friend from the list
Choose a Position from the list

Remember, to see a friend's responses, THEY must add you as a friend.  Adding them as a friend on your list allows THEM to see YOUR responses, not the other way around!

Groups

Groups work similarly to Friends, but don't share as much detail.  You can join one or several groups.  When you join a group, other group members will be able to see which candidates the entire group matches up best with (but not individual group members).  They can also see how the entire group stands on an individual issue.  At no time can does participating in a group show your specific responses...it only includes them in the statistics for the overall group.

Groups are totally managed by members.  You can create as many groups as you'd like and remove people from the groups you've created.  Only the member that created the group can manage it though.

No one can join your group unless they know the name of it.  The group names are not visible to anyone on the sight unless they have joined.  You must communicate your group name outside of the site (ie via email, word of mouth, etc) in order for those you want to join to know about it.  However, you may post the group name on the blogs within the site if you wish.

To join a Group:

Choose My Account from the menu (you must be logged in for this to be visible)
