Why do we require registration?
We must have users register, or we'd never be able to save your responses for your next visit.

What do we need the other required information (email, zip code, screen name, etc)?
We use this information to ensure that users do not register repeatedly and pad the survey results. We want a fair reflection of the results, so we limit the responses to the survey. Using an email address with verification helps us do that. The Zip Code is collected so that users can analyze the response data geographically. Your screen name is used on the blogs so your actual name does not need to appear. Your First and Last name will be used by our site administration for such things as setting you up as a moderator, technical support, etc. Phone number is totally optional, but will also help us in working with you adminstratively if required.
